Meet the Centerpiece Connoisseur

Baking & Decorating Connoisseur Connie Assante, of “CUPCAKE SPLURGE,” gave us her ideal winter centerpiece inspired by the sweet smell of clementines and bright yellow tint of lemons. My favorite part of this design is the smell of the clementines poached by cinnamon seeds.

“Coming from an interior design background, I love creating centerpieces with fresh ingredients like those pictured below.  Centerpieces should reflect the style of your home. Or, the theme you are trying to achieve on any given night. Go to the supermarket and pick out the best and most colorful fruit you can find. Then stop by the floral section and get some nice floral separates. If you have a garden, then, this is the time to show your green-thumb off!” -Connie.
