Valentine’s Day Celebration!

Pre-Valentines Day this year, the Art of Perfection Events Team had a little party to celebrate our love of learning new things, event planning, and of course, chocolate.
As an assistant, we go to the office 2 times a week, enjoy a few espressos as we work and laugh a lot as we gather information and grow together as a team. When Maryla told us we were going to have a Valentine’s Day party, we were all excited to see the beautiful house that existed outside of the office walls.
When I walked into the dinning room, the beautiful flowers and tablescape made my jaw drop. The shimmery table clothed paired perfectly with the ombré pink water glasses and the vibrant array of colorful flowers. We even all had a personalized nametag at our seat at the table, giving us a feeling of specialized importance.
We began with a friendly competition, in the office, of creating a tablescape with any assortment of crafts that we could find throughout the house. We learned about hosting etiquette, how to properly set a table, and how to match color swatches to go with your clients theme.
From there we moved back into the dinning room, were we were surprised to see heart shaped pizza and delicious insalata as the main meal. How cute?! We next went around the table discussing which areas of work we would like to challenge ourselves and grow in before we moved to the best part of any meal, dessert. We indulged ourselves with an assortment of fresh fruit, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and beautifully colored macaroons.
We are event planners, and we love what we do, so of course this party would not have been complete without a photoshoot! We laughed and joked around a lot, while taking many pictures, to find the perfect pose.
