It is almost that time of year again, when love is in the air, the color red<\/strong><\/span> is everywhere you look, and couples exchange gifts of flowers and chocolate.<\/p>\n

Can you think of a more romantic place in the world than the town where the most famous literary love story of all time occurred? In the quaint town of Verona, Italy, Romeo first laid eyes on the love of his life, the beautiful Juliet. (la bella Giulietta<\/em>)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Their love story was an absolute whirlwind full of secret meetings, sword fights, stolen kisses (baci<\/em>), beautiful poetry (poesia<\/em>), and forbidden affairs. While Shakespeare himself had never personally been to Verona, he captured the absolute beauty and timelessness of this magical place, where love is thriving all year-round. In Verona, you can experience beautiful architecture as you walk along the streets, shop in charming stores that line the Italian alleyways, see street performers entertaining on every corner, and walk through the house of Juliet. (la casa di Giulietta)<\/em><\/p>\n

You can experience firsthand the house that the artistic Shakespeare envisioned for his heroine, Juliet. You can stand on the balcony where Romeo poetically called to his love. You can see the love locks (lucchetti<\/em>), leave Juliet a letter about your own personal love story (storia d’amore<\/em>), or you can write your loves name on the wall to symbolize your eternal love and leave a piece of yourself in Verona.<\/p>\n
