We have been lucky enough to brush up on our holiday knowledge with our native Florentine wine connoisseur, Florencia Tamanini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2928 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofperfectionevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/florencia.jpg\" alt=\"florencia\" width=\"581\" height=\"387\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A variety of traditional Easter plates are served on this holiday and with each dish is a perfect wine to pair!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2929\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofperfectionevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/red-wine-large.jpg\" alt=\"red-wine-large\" width=\"580\" height=\"362\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le uova sode<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are hard boiled eggs which will begin the meal. They can be blessed at Church and placed at the table. Be sure to place Rosemary bread on the table as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2930\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofperfectionevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Italian_Easter_Table_Setting_4.jpg\" alt=\"Italian_Easter_Table_Setting_(4)\" width=\"581\" height=\"385\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the main course, lamb is served with roasted potatoes.<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Nobile di Montepulciano<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a dry red wine made from Sangiovese grapes, will complement this savory serving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2931\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofperfectionevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Vino-Nobile-Di-Montepulciano-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Vino-Nobile-Di-Montepulciano-1024x682\" width=\"581\" height=\"387\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For dessert, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quaresimali<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a chocolate dessert is served. This goes perfectly with<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Vin Santo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a sweet wine made from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes. <\/span><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2932\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artofperfectionevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/1031298x.jpg\" alt=\"1031298x\" width=\"186\" height=\"446\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An Easter tradition in Florence, the capital of Tuscany, is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo scoppio del carro<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or The Burning of the Carriage. This tradition dates back to July 15, 1099. Every Easter Sunday, the carriage arrives outside The Basilica of Santa Maria Del Fiore around 10 AM.
